Installation, “Flora Contempo” completed at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort

“Flora Contempo” is a work that references some of the artist’s earliest esthetic experiences. “I wasn’t taken to museums when I was young to see fine art – but I did ramble through the woods and saw the beauty of nature – the flowers, leaves, seed pods, moss, and lichen. This installation is inspired by those childhood adventures in the forest.” “Flora Contempo” is created from aluminum, copper, and bronze mesh with mixed media.
